Carrie Underwoods wedding!

Carrie Underwood officially became Mrs. Michael Fisher on Saturday at the Ritz-Carlton resort in Greensboro, Georgia. The couple exchanged "I do's" under a lake-side tent at the resort, which was closed down for the day just for the nuptials. The wedding took place before 250 friends and family members. The ceremony featured classical music and the couple's favorite Bible readings, according to People.com. In a statement to the magazine, Carrie and Mike wrote, "We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!" They signed it "Mike & Carrie Fisher." According to reports, wedding guests, who included Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, were transported to the Ritz-Carlton either by private plane or limo from the airport. The ceremony and reception allegedly cost upwards of half a million dollars. The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that People magazine had sole access to the wedding, paying the couple a reported $2 million for the rights. Photos and more details about the nuptials are said to appear in this week's issue of People magazine. The Ritz-Carlton resort is located about 75 miles east of Atlanta. For now, Carrie and Mike plan to keep their respective homes in Nashville and in Peterborough, Ontario. The happy couple are said to be honeymooning in Tahiti and Bora Bora.
