George Lopez and his wife, Ann, are getting a divorce, TMZ has learned.
Sources say George and Ann have been working out details of the split "for a long time," but they've both made the decision to end the marriage.
The couple has been married for 17 years. They have a 15-year-old daughter, and we're told they both want to keep the divorce amicable for the sake of their kid.
UPDATE: A rep for George and Ann tells TMZ, "George and Ann Lopez have made the decision to end their 17 year marriage. The decision is amicable and by mutual agreement. They remain dedicated parents, and committed partners in business and their philanthropic organization, The Lopez Foundation."

Shantel VanSanten made quite the splash with her debut on One Tree Hill last season as Quinn James; free-spirited beautiful photographer running away from her past and moving to Tree Hill to further discover herself and her future. As we saw Quinn had a year full of new discoveries that took her down an interesting path of new love, loss, and just about everything in between which ultimately led her to have one of the most unexpected cliffhangers in One Tree Hill history! I had the pleasure of catching up with the always super-sweet VanSanten on set recently in the midst of her filming the aftermath to Quinn’s final season seven scene that left her lying on the floor after being shot.
VanSanten, who is of Norwegian-Dutch descent, says the name Shantel came from her mom wanting her to be called something unique. And that’s exactly what you get with VanSanten. She comes across as someone who possesses a rare genuine spark and gratefulness about everything. Chatting with VanSanten it’s easy to see just how appreciative and enthusiastic she is about her role and experiences with One Tree Hill; as she reflected back on her most cherished moments with Quinn, why she’s so touched by fan reactions, and what she’s most excited about with her storyline this season!

Digitalspy: ‘Tree Hill’ Alex ‘just wants to be loved’
Jana Kramer has claimed that her One Tree Hill character Alex just wants to be loved.
Speaking to the New York Post, Kramer explained that she wants Alex to have a romance this season.
“I love her,” she said. “Obviously I have to, but I think she’s crazy yet she has a good heart.
“She’s not getting in between Julian and Brooke anymore, so people can stop hating her for that. She just wants someone to love her and I feel bad for her – she needs some love. And I’m hoping she gets it this season.”

TVSquad: ‘Life Unexpected’ Creator Liz Tigelaar on ‘One Tree Hill’ Crossover, New Characters and More
How did the ‘One Tree Hill’ crossover come about?
Kate Voegele, who plays Mia, is performing at a music festival in Portland that Cate and Ryan’s radio station is hosting. Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti), her producer, comes along with her and ends up performing as well. It turns out that Haley and Cate have all these ways that they’re similar that they discover in the course of spending time together: They both were kind of dorky nerdy high school valedictorians who got pregnant in high school by athletes named Nate or Nathan. I was like “Wait, what? Oh my god, this is amazing. This is a perfect crossover.” It was very resonant with the story we wanted to tell anyway, so the timing was perfect.
It’s amazing. It came about because The CW said we had to do a crossover. I was like “Great, is Mark Schwahn writing it?” And then they were like “No, you are. It’s your crossover onto your show.” And I was like “Crap,” because I thought “Is that one less episode for me? I’m psyched! I can get caught up.” But it ended up being wonderful because they were nice enough to send their people to us to help our show. We’re still growing and building, so they’re sending their characters with the hopes that their audience will come to us after them.

Filming friday was the best ive been too. so fun to watch sophia direct. James & Jackson were there, as well as the other little boy Chuck. It was a trick or treating scene. The houses/street/set looked awesome. There were barely any fans there and the shoot went til 1:30AM so most fans left way before, so by the end we really just got to get super close and nobody paid much attention to us haha it was great. Sophia came over alot before filming and then did a few pics at the end as well. she asked that we dont post pics of any filming or jackson and “chuck” in costume, so i wont and for that reason jackson didnt come over but he waved and said hi alot etc James waved and said hi and at the end he walked right by us and said by and left, kinda disappointing he never came over but it was a long night. i have some pics ill post when i get home  (credit: TashaVB19@othforums) |

OTH Season 8 Premiere Day!
OK guys, Today is the day the Gr8 Season 8 begins! With this possibly being the last season of One Tree Hill heres to hoping the best for all our favorites!
To catch you up with how season 7 ended…
- Everyone has just returned home from Utah after Julian’s movie successfully premiered.
- Julian and Brooke are engaged.
- Grubbs has left to go start touring in London.
- Josh says he will miss Alex as he leaves to head home to Denver to talk with his parents.
- Chase had agreed to go out with Alex only to received a text from Mia that she misses him.
- Nathan and Haley are excited to find out she is pregnant and this has helped in the healing process after the loss of her mother.
- Katie has shot Clay and Quinn in his beach house.

- Firstly, how is training going for your half marathon?
- Training is going well. I have to run as little as possible or else I will shrink into a skeleton. I have never run 5 miles in my life. The other day I ran 11.2. I just read ‘Born To Run’ [by Christopher McDougall]. Incredible book and very inspiring. It made me want to run run run. Run barefoot. The way mother nature intended.
- What’s your most memorable moment of being part of the One Tree Hill cast so far?
- My most memorable moment has yet to come. I have a feeling it is coming this season (8). Around episode 10 or 11

EXCLUSIVE: Shantel VanSanten Says Her & Sexy ‘One Tree Hill’ Co-Star Rob Buckley are ‘Inseparable In Real Life’!

Backstage at the Jill Stuart runway show during Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week on Sept. 11 we got to catch up with One Tree Hill’s Shantel VanSanten who dished on her on-set and real life BFF, cutie co-star Robert Buckley!
When asked who her BFF on set is, she quickly said Rob! “Rob and I are like butt buddies, he’s my best friend!”
So, how do the pair of pals spend their time? “We read comics and watch Arrested Development and The Office, we’re inseparable in real life!”
Considering co-stars Sophia Bush and Austin Nichols found love on set, does that mean romance is in the air?
Apparently not! “Um, in real life? He’s my best friend, no no no! I mean we sleep in the same bed and nap together and to have that friendship to me is so important,” she said.
The star also said their connection definitely adds to their on-screen love connection. “Our chemistry is so much better because of it, because most romances come from a friendship so when you have that base in real life it only helps on screen.”
Although Rob’s still available, interested females may have some trouble answering to Shantal who admits to being super protective of her best guy friend!
“I cut them [girls] away I’m pretty much like, ‘Not good enough, that’s not gonna happen, I don’t like her!’ He always laughs at me. he’s like ‘You are a [cock] blocker,’ and I’m like ‘Yea, kind of’.”

Zap2it: One Tree Hill Season 8: Brooke earned her happiness, Nathan is back in the game
“One Tree Hill” executive producer Mark Schwahn has never shied away from cliffhangers, as evidenced by his Season 7 finale, which ended with two characters shot and bleeding despite a still uncertain Season 8 pickup. This season, Schwahn may be a little more cautious. “Im not a fan of ending our series on a cliffhanger,” he assures Zap2it. “I dont intend to do that. Do I think that this is our final season? Right now, my instinct says yes, but anything can happen. We still love making this show, and if the network wants us back, well keep going.”

Sammi Quits 'Jersey Shore'
Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola reportedly tried to leave the show over the weekend after a "blowout" fight with on-off beau Ronnie. A source told OK! magazine, "She ripped off the mic pack at the house after a monster fight with Ronnie and quit. She feels stupid for believing him and he made a fool of her." Although she supposedly went home briefly, OK! later reported that she agreed to return to the house and resume filming.

Peter Facinelli says he's excited to be the number one worst vampire in Rolling Stone's list of "Best And Worst Vampire Of Films And TV." He posted on Twitter, "YES! I finally came in Number 1 in something." Facinelli plays Twilight's Carlisle Cullen, who Rolling Stone's Peter Travers says is "the white-haired head of the fang-challenged Cullen vampire family." Even though Travers calls Facinelli a "solid actor," he says that the character he plays "looks about as terrifying as Project Runway winner Austin Scarlett, whom Carlisle closely resembles."
Jesse James and Kat Von D Out Again Together
There's now photographic evidence that Jesse James and Kat Von D are dating. Onlookers saw (and snapped) the two walking hand-in-hand around Texas over the weekend. One witness told RadarOnline.com, "I saw Jesse and Kat holding hands while walking down the main street sidewalk of Fredricksburg, Texas. They came into town early afternoon Sunday on a motorcycle. They were chatting, holding hands and headed towards the Admiral Nimitz Museum."

Dancing With The Stars Cast Revealed
The latest cast of Dancing With the Stars was no secret. Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke confirmed during Monday night's Bachelor Pad that Bristol Palin and Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino will be among the contestants competing on the reality show's 11th season, which kicks off on September 20th. The complete cast is Brandy, Jennifer Grey from Dirty Dancing, Margaret Cho, Audrina Patridge from The Hills, Florence Henderson, Bristol Palin, Rick Fox, Michael Bolton, David Hasselhoff, Kurt Warner, former NFL champ, and Kyle Massey,from Disney's Cory in the House.

Ashton Kutcher Denies Cheating Rumors
Ashton Kutcher is threatening legal action against Star magazine after they published a story accusing him of cheating on wife Demi Moore. The magazine claims that Ashton was seen kissing and groping a hot young blonde at a Los Angeles restaurant. A source told Star, "Ashton had this gorgeous girl pinned against the wall, and he was totally making out with her. I was shocked to see him sucking face with a girl who obviously wasn't Demi." In response to the article, Ashton tweeted, "I think Star magazine calling me a "cheater" qualifies as defamation of character. I hope my lawyer agrees. STAR magazine -- you don't get to stand behind "freedom of the press" when you are writing fiction." Demi re-tweeted her husband's messages, writing, "Excellent point my love."

T.I. And His Wife Arrested
The honeymoon is over for rapper T.I. and Tameka "Tiny" Cottle. Weeks after they wed, the two were arrested Wednesday for possession of a controlled substance in West Hollywood. Police smelled alleged marijuana coming from their car and placed them under arrest after "a narcotics investigation ensued," Los Angeles sheriff's deputy Mark Pope told The Associated Press. Still no official word on what specific drugs were found, but TMZ (which broke the story) reports methamphetamines and ecstasy were found. The 29-year-old T.I. (real name is Clifford Harris Jr.) has done time for drugs before. He also is still on probation stemming from charges of illegally buying machine guns. The rapper, who has five children, recently told the AP he has turned over a new leaf. "Right now, it's all about moving forward and just acknowledging the blessings that are here today," he said last month. "Just moving past the regrets of yesterday - the things that could've been done better."
